U-19 GIRLS WIN STATE TITLE

The U-19 Cheshire United girls (4-2-2) ended their season defeating (8-0-0) South Central with a score of 4-3 to win the New Hampshire Soccer League state title on penalty kicks. Ava Delagono scored on a great thru ball from Julia Priest. Victoria Reynolds had two goals. One on a long range free kick and one unassisted. The Cheshire defense, Lucy Marshall, Jackie Richter, Paige Rountree, and Emily Richardson played perfectly to stifle South Central. Rebecca Koziara made many outstanding saves during regulation and four during the penalty kicks. Converting penalty kicks for Cheshire were, Vic Reynolds, Mary Beth Groton, Jackie Richter, Julia Priest, Emily Richardson and Paige Rountree.
