Mike Acerno

Mike is the President Emeritus of Cheshire United Soccer Club and is actively involved with the club. Mike has experience coaching girls varsity at Keene High School.

Mark Belden

Mark grew up in Claremont, NH and attended Stevens High School where he was a 3 year varsity player, 3 year starter and 2 year team captain. He received all-state honors in both his junior and senior years. He has been playing club and local recreational soccer ever since. Mark has his NHSA / USSF Level "D" Coaching License and also coaches the Keene Middle School Boys A Soccer Team. He has been with Cheshire United for 5 years and has coached one NH Division 1 State Championship Team (Boys U11) and another runner-up (Boys U12). Mark has a son and a daughter who play with Cheshire United and has been on the Board of Directors for 3 years. Mark is the current President of Cheshire United. 


Abe Gates

Abe was a 4 year starter at Fall Mountain High School in the mid 90s and the team captain his senior year.  His freshman and sophomore year the team made consecutive runs to the state finals only to lose to the powerhouse Gilford Eagles both times.  At Colby-Sawyer College he started at left half for 4 years.  He was named First Team All Academic his junior and senior years.  Also in his senior year he set Colby-Sawyer's single season record for assists, was named First Team All Conference and was recognized on the All Academic East Team.  He enjoys coaching his daughter on the U-11 team currently.

James Hancock

 James Hancock has played soccer since he was 5 years old at all levels of the game, playing center mid-field and goal tender and continues to play recreationally because of his love of the game.  He has extensive experience both coaching and mentoring teams and individual players at both recreational levels and those on competitive tracks in a wide range of ages.  He has also refereed at almost all levels of the game as well.


Andrew Mueller

Andrew grew up outside of White Plains New York playing high school soccer and competitive club soccer. He attended Clarkson University where he was a 4 year starter. He has coached at Cheshire United for the past 3 years. Andrew manages and coaches a coed satellite Cheshire United soccer team based in Chesterfield, NH which is affectionately known as "The Chesterfield Crew".

 



Brian Shollenberger

Brian is from Pennsylvania were he played all his soccer for Germania and Soccer Club of Reading. He graduated from Reading High School, where he played 4 years for varsity, captain for senior year. His team advanced to Districts and Counties for 2 of the years. He won back-to-back MVP's for summer camp in H.S.  Brian has been coaching for Cheshire United Soccer Club for 5 years and coached a NH Division 1 State runner-up team for U12 Boys. He has 2 boys playing in two different age groups. Brian has also been a member of the Board of Directors for 2 years.


Leah Rideout

Leah is an aspiring coach from Chesterfield, NH. She has played for several different organizations including Cheshire United, and the Southern Soccer Academy. Leah is also an alumni of the girls soccer program at Monadnock Regional High School, where she had 2 years of varsity experience. 


Celia Tasho

Celia is a Monadnock Regional HS & Smith College soccer alumni. She played 4 years as part of the Monadnock's most successful seasons, and captained her Smith College teammates to success as well. 




Ryan Gonzalez

Ryan is from Merrimack, NH, where he played goalie for Merrimack High School. Ryan also played for Merrimack Soccer Club, as well as participated in the inaugural season of Granite State Games representing the Southern Region. Ryan's coaching career began with Merrimack Soccer Club where he keeper coached for several age groups. Since then he has coached for several futsal and soccer clubs including GPS, Hampshire United, Los Futboleros, and Cheshire United. In 2018 Ryan served as the District 3 U18 Girls Goal Keeper Coach, as well as the Assistant Varsity Coach for Monadnock Girl Soccer. In 2019 Ryan led the Chesterfield Boys Middle School soccer team to an undefeated season, along with winning the Westmoreland Invitational Tournament. Ryan Currently has a USSF D-level License.




Zach Shedlock

Zach is a 4 year varsity veteran from Stevens High School. He also played for Connecticut River Futbol Club during this time. After graduating from Stevens Zach attended Keene State College where he wracked up 2 years of club soccer experience, as well as a 1 season bout with the college's men's team. Zach's coaching career began in 2014 where he coached for Connecticut River Futbol Club, as well as assistant coached for Stevens. In 2016 Zach began assistant coaching Boys's Varsity at Keene High School, where he spent two seasons. Zach currently holds a USSF D level Coaching License , has a Level 1 diploma through United Soccer Coaches, and is a Certified Interscholastic Coach. 



Jacques Kenjio

Jacques Kenjio is originally from Cameroon (Central Africa). Jacques is very passionate about football and is a big supporter of Chelsea Football Club. Jacques currently lives in Keene, NH where he is a PhD student in the Department of Environmental Studies at Antioch University New England (AUNE) . Prior to moving to the US, Jacques played competitive football for his University in Cameroon (University of Buea). Jacques is very excited to share his passion and love for the game with other the youth of Keene.
